Apparently, rumor has it that my helper has been saying some stuff which are to me, unbelievable . Stuff that are quite superficial and not very in-depth, like, for example- a particular event. Anyway, none was run by me, and god alone knows how often my family has been the coffee talk amongst my “friends” open and close inverted commas because I believe if any of these people were my friends they would have shouted or if not less, spoken firmly that there’s NO reason any of that rumor is true..

Which brings me to my point.. Who says ” do upon others what u want others to do unto u..” cos as much as I’ve tried resonating with this sentence, time and time again, life has proven me wrong.. In this simple example, what I’d have done would be to tell my helper to quit talking and gossiping about another family’s matter.. But if she persists and cautioned that it could be true or what not, the next thing I’d have done would be to approach my friend, or fellow Julia Gabriel- school goer, and tell her what my helper has been saying.. INSTEAD of chit chatting about it .. Wondering WHO’s telling the truth and what not.. Its none of my business to begin with right?! First things first, question- if I do not care about this person, ethically, what’s right would be to not start a chat on whether any of it could be true. I’d just probably listen and not add. I mean what’s the purpose of the chat? Stoop down to the level of a helper?

Why make something so simple so so complicated? Sometimes I wonder why do I keep meeting people like these. This lady, D, is the typical people I detest.. High and mighty, holier than thou, nose up in the air and is never wrong. The irony of this situation was, I knew at first meeting, that I might not get along with her. You know? I digress a little. But I’m wondering why.. Why would anyone not handle this situation the way I would.

You know although I don’t give a damn about this stupid turd lady-D, I’m only human to wonder is it not obvious? I mean on the day we “fell out” I was just for crying out loud asking her about flour!! Miss High and mighty went on to talk about baking my own bread like what?? This is what I mean, if I, for eg, f- ing bake my own bread I won’t, tell others YOU SHOULD too. Anyway, it spiraled from there.. And i was accused of talking about her helper’s workload and etc .. Well, she mentioned, either me, or my helper. Like huh? Like throwing a dagger right at my back, how to bloody hell escape? Nuts. As I did call her that day.. I still think she’s loony.. A loony trouble causer. Also, who’s so free to chit chat about your stupid husehold?! Aiyoh, women..

I was taught at a young age to NOT point fingers at others, accusingly, I mean. Cos 4 other fingers would be pointing back at you. In this case, what transpired all these rumors? Well, of course it could be true my helper isn’t an angel herself and she’s the start of it all, just wanna gossip? She wants attention? Perhaps she hates me? I dunno.. OR, miss high and mighty’s helper could be playing punk and just adding stuff. I know integrity wise, my helper has never ever said a single bad thing about anyone, that alone I know is true.

How I see it would be- d’s turd helper is the one talking about all these, shouldnt she be doing her chores, or helping out with baby? So free to chat about these things? Why are you even talking about these? I mean, I believe theres probably no smoke without fire, it could have been from my camp or maybe it’s all a one or two man staged crazy show on d’s camp? Example, she’s talking to everyone (other helpers) and complaining about her workload, then worried turd faced d hears them, so she twist and blames the poor woman with twins who’s just enjoying classes with her babies.. Totally unsuspecting, and really back full of knives.

Oh well, I could go on. We live in a crazy world and much as I try to steer clear of loonies like turd faced d, I still meet them.. Too many, really.

So, next time, I go for classes, nursery, kindergarden, p sch n etc. Steer clear of crazy moms… Don’t blame me if I keep absolutely silent.

God bless these crazy women, both turd faced d and her helper with a dozen mouths. Lol

Just paused to look at my two darlings… If anything, I only wish for the best of health for these two little beans forever

They are 18 months old this month, 16 months old corrected.. They have been proficiently walking since august ( Caitlin early august and Chelsea end august)that’s 14 mo corrected.

I’m surprised. I bought them a threading toy- for which the toys are wooden with holes on both ends, they have to put a thread through.. Taught both, and caitlin showed great interest! She even managed to do it with my guidance.. All along, chelsea’s fine motor have been better than Caitlin’s. I’m thrilled.

Speech wise, they have been saying a lot of B sounds like bye-bye, bubbles, boo for book, beat and top it off with a beat hand motion..I also hear distinct MOMMY when they are Exasperatedly calling me to no avail..

I see Caitlin pushing herself on the lion push walker ( cum ride along toy) and both find great pleasure pushing thier two walkers along!

Chelsea is still strangely copying her sis, taking her toys and of late even wanting to drink her sister’s milk! We are joking that Chelsea is a copy cat and lack originality. Hah! Caitlin, on the other hand has established herself as THE biter, she has successfully bitten Chelsea on numerous occasions, to a sobbing Chelsea. On several occasions, Chelsea did nothing but stand close to Caitlin.. N wham.. The poor baby!

They have indeed grown in size but not too much in weight.. They are still very petite, at only 8.5 kg.. However, they are very healthy and what more can I ask?

I’d love to venture for a holiday, it would be challenging but definitely a change from the daily routine

Babes at 18 mo, and 16 mo ca

Caitlin and Chelsea are already 17 mo (15 mo corrected) ti,e surely flies.. They re pretty much toddling toddlers and literally walking everywhere they desire ,much to my despair! No time for pictures but I made a super huge space for them in the living room and they wanna play by the sides of the already enlarged play yard?!?! Friends on my fb would hv seen the pictures..

Caitlin of late has learnt how to beat and bite her sis whenever she’s near.. Perhaps she wanna protect her toys .. Cos Chelsea loves taking away her toys .. I’m picking out some words now n then .. Like BIRD, baby, me me me me, bye bye though not that clearly

Chelsea ohh Chelsea has dropped being fed and insists on self feeding.. It’s also to my despair cos then I’ve to b extra creative to let her eat the stuff she needs like veg, meat ..

My day begins as early as 7 and never ends, cos sometimes they do wake n wanna be carried etc..

Before I go sleep.. Just wanna say that although it is tiring n all.. Im loving this stage.. I love babies ! They’re just too cuddly now..

The little innocent babies are napping. Hooray!! Peace on earth.. They re really growing up too fast.. Of late, noticed lots of new developments.. Caitlin has successfully figured out how to put things back . I.e box, containers etc.. Both are also superb imitators .. They mimic the way I cough, like Chelsea coughed after I did n flashed me a cheeky smile! That lill baby girl!;)

Caitlin copies the way i playfully keep her toys in a box, shake the box and throw everything out.. She copies and do the same..

Really an enjoyable age right now.. They re both amazing me everyday.

Celebrated g’s 37th birthday last weekend, we had a long day away from babies n had both lunch and dinner outdoors , what a luxury.. I had fun guiding babies’ hands full of paint onto his Birthday card, it was hilarious! Caitlin couldn’t open her hands. The prints just look like a mess and someone split brown paint all over.

We also bought a Step 2 push car, and brought the whole thing out on Sunday.. Babies enjoyed their mobile ride and was the envy of many kids..

I’m surely enjoying my days with these 2 really clever babies.. They really surprise me .. Better go read my book now before they wake!!

Ps.. Feeding bbs still a chore !!

Last weekend, Chelsea had greenish eye discharge, one big problem she was plagued with when she just came home..( Well, the only difference between then and now is- its so difficult to clean her eyes now! )

After her nap, she felt warmish so I gave her some panadol n she was fine.. As it was polling day we only could bring her to a dr the following day.

As it progresses it became a full-on cold, with runny nose, cough and that greenish eye discharge!

That was last week.. And as she began to get better, my helper and I started falling ill! That’s strange for me as the last time I was really sick, fever n all was some 5 years ago!

Anyhow.. Everyones getting better now. Woopie-do!

Magical moments all around this morning despite the grumpiness from the cold..both babies took their first unassisted steps !! While standing, I encouraged them to walk towards a ball. And they did! Yippie ! Smiles all around

They re corrected age 11 mo!

“TWINS?”

“Yea…”

” one boy, one girl ah?”

“no, both girls..”

Talk..

The strange security guard started talking n predicting my babies’ future.. Like WTH right? He went..

“actually to tell u the truth, I can predict the future y’know?”

In my mind.. “ya right, then predict 4 numbers and don’t be a security guard la…”

“oh yah? ..” without asking for any prediction..

But still he went on.. And on.. Babbling on superficial things that usual strangers/friends/relatives would comment..

Y’know what’s the strangest thing? We haven’t seen him around anymore ?! Maybe he’s sent from heaven above to have that 5 minutes of mind boggling chatter..

I’ve never actually put thought as to how I’m gonna be as a mom, today, I realized that I actually put in alot of effort when I want to.. I love a perfect schedule, although it isn’t easy when my bosses r as fickle as the wind / or weather.

Their schedule is something like this :

1) milk at 0600 hrs (fed by my helper, one by one whilst sleeping)
2) babies and me wake 0700 hrs.. And breakfast at 0800-0830 hrs)
3) milk and nap from 0930-1030, nap till 11 plus or later
4) lunch at about noon to 1230, and shower
5) milk and nap from 1330-???
6) snack if earlier then 1600hrs
7) dinner from 1700 hrs, clean up to pjs.. Walk time
milk about 1845hrs
9) last milk feed at 2200 hrs

As u can see, ive a very busy schedule!! I cannot imagine the extreme love and affection one person can bestow on someone else..least, for my case.. Two little babies! That are all mine Sometimes I’m so tired but I’ll wash my face n “restore” power once again..

Oh well, I shd better rest now before my cuties wake up!

Babies are over a year old now(4th april) and already 10 mo corrected… They are both beautiful and have unique personalities.. Of late they have been “fighting” a lot! Seems like they love snatching each others’ toy and/ or attention.. They also scream a lot! I’m already thinking of various tactics for future usage when they streamline into hopefully angelic toddlers!

Caitlin looks angelic but I do see her mischievous side in her, she ” attacks” seemingly innocent Chelsea before she even comes near her, pulls her hair n shouts.. Sometimes I feel she overdramatize the situation! Developmentally wise, she has been a step slower in comparison to her sis.. However, emotionally, she has been ahead n the first one that started laughing, grinning and showing excitement by moving her legs real quickly..

Now, baby baby Chelsea not only looks way different she has a set of different personalities from her sis.. chelsea is just too cute!! She snatches toys even though there r a gazillion other toys available! Of late she has learnt how to scream for a reason or no reasons at all..

Both can do basically everything except walk.. Really quick these days.. Pulling to stand, crawl, laugh, beat each other and etc..

They are also getting it! Like, I would say clap hands, and chelsea would joyously bring two small cutie palms together , “clap clap clap!” caitlin would delicately bring her fingers together, yes, that’s her way of clapping.. Chelsea also would mimic the twinkle twinkle little star action. Caitlin also have this really pointless thing btw her and her father- shake her head uncontrollable when prompted, by her dad of course! Till she look a tad giddy lol

This week, they have been Angels- eating wise.. Well, let’s see how long this lasts!

Anyway, Even though the worries are uncountable, the joy of bringing them up and seeing them grow daily is insurmountable .. I wouldn’t trade a day to lose any of these memories.. My day starts and never really ends but my two precious babies are the topmost in my priorities now!!

I hope I can update soon haha.. Not take a long leave of absence again. Haha

Wow what a way to start my first 2011 entry.. Seriously? The transition from 2010 to 2011 didn’t make any difference at all.. This is official the first time I feel this way.. I guess it’s Mainly because I’m caring for my babies and really preoccupied in thoughts about them.. It didn’t really matter the year, time or space. Sort of Like lost in space feeling? Not that Ive ever been lost in space la, haha.. Crap…

Feeding babes solids now for wait, hmm.. A couple of months now.. They’re 6.5 corrected and have been feeding since about 4 months plus corrected.. Well, they have their days.. Some days no means no and I just have to move on with life, even cajoling doesn’t have anh effect.

Even feeding milk has changed so much, no longer . I feed u drink. Oh yah, I ve given up latching babies, I feel less stress feeding by bottle and at the end of the day, the only person stressing about formula milk or breast milk is me. N I reckon i should be happy whilst providing for the.. Anyhow it has already been a good 8 months ( 6 months, corrected) of total bm. Anyhow I digress..

Yea as I was saying feeding milk has become an entertainment arena too, hanging toys in front, rolling tiny bears on their feet.. Kissing their fingers..for me I’ll do anything if they can let me rest and sit through the entire feed.

Chelsea is strong and generally turns to whatever that has taken her fancy and boy u betta hold her tight.

It’s quite funny to see both together and when chelsea doesn’t have a toy and Caitlin is near with a toy? Off chelsea goes fast and quick to snatch, while poor Caitlin whines.

Well, chelsea is comando crawling already, while caitling just managed flipping more and pivoting . So imagine the chaos, one going at another while one just can turn round and round, its hilarious !

Life with these two Is absolutely fantastic .. Everyday they make me so happy. Life is blissful now.
